I am highly supportive of legal immigration.  My wife and her family immigrated legally from Panama and Cuba. We are a nation of immigrants, the "great melting pot."

This does not mean that we should have open borders. I support a strong border and a rational immigration policy that allows good, hardworking men and women to come to our nation to pursue the great American dream.
